In this video I show how to install VMware Player, including how to fix a common installation error that some of you may experience. (Disable Virtualization Technology / VT in your BIOS and then re-run the installer in case you receive the same vmauthd.exe error.)

The video also shows some basic network troubleshooting, in case you have issues connecting to the Internet from your virtual machine.

In order to do any of the hacks shown on this channel, you will generally need a Linux (or Unix) distribution along with the tools shown. You’re free to use alternatives of course, as I will be using what I prefer.
